Effective date:
These terms are an agreement between you and MobileBiz Systems Pte Ltd, a private limited company in Singapore, which makes and runs Klinic2Go (“we”, “us”). By starting the free trial or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them with the privacy policy.
1. The service
What it is. An Android app for a doctor’s private clinic: patient records, visits, prescriptions, medical certificates, bills and payments, today’s list and bookings, kept up to date across your phones and tablets and your secretary’s phone.
Who may use it. Doctors licensed in the Philippines, aged 18 or over, and the staff they choose. One subscription covers one doctor and all of that doctor’s phones, tablets and clinics.
What it does not do. It does not suggest diagnoses, check drug interactions, or give medical advice. It does not file PhilHealth or HMO claims, or issue official receipts. Every clinical decision, and every word on a prescription or certificate, is yours. A patient’s PDF copy by QR is a copy of the paper, not an electronic prescription; a pharmacy may refuse it.
Updates. Some updates are required for the app to keep working. We will not remove a main feature you pay for without 30 days’ notice, and you may cancel if you do not agree.
2. Trial, price, cancelling
Your first 10 days are free. Google Play runs the trial and charges the first month when it ends, unless you cancel in Google Play before then. After that, Klinic2Go costs US$20 a month through Google Play, shown in pesos. We give 30 days’ notice of any price change.
You pay by card, GCash or another way Google Play offers; we never see those details. Cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions); the month you paid for runs to its end. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy, and we will help you ask. Nothing here takes away a refund right Philippine consumer law gives you.
If you stop paying, your records stay on your phones and tablets and you can still open, read and print them. You cannot add new visits until you pay again. We never lock you out of your own records.
3. Your records and your duties
Your records are yours. You own your patients’ records and are responsible for them, as with paper charts. We claim no rights in them. How long you keep a record is your decision; the app does not delete records on its own.
- Give your patients your own privacy notice that mentions this app and your Google Drive backup, and meet your own duties under the Data Privacy Act.
- Have your staff keep what they see confidential, and keep the secretary’s phone for front-desk work.
- Keep a screen lock on every phone and tablet, and remove a lost one in Settings at once.
- Check each prescription and certificate before you print, sign or share it. You are responsible for every use of your signature in the app.
- Do not send real patient details to us in screenshots or support messages.
Keep your Google account safe, with two-step sign-in. Your locked backup is kept there. We cannot open your records. If you lose your Google account and all your phones and tablets, we cannot get your records back. You can print any record or paper from the app at any time; it does not yet export records to other software.
4. How we handle records for you
Under the Data Privacy Act you are the personal information controller and we are your processor. This part is our agreement as processor, for as long as you use Klinic2Go.
- We handle your practice’s records only to keep your phones and tablets up to date and to give a patient a copy you choose to share, on your instructions and as the law requires. We hold them only encrypted, and we cannot read them.
- They pass through Google Cloud in Singapore. We will give 30 days’ notice before moving them to another country or adding another company that handles them, and you may cancel if you object. We stay responsible for those companies.
- Our staff are bound to confidentiality, and we keep the safeguards in the privacy policy.
- We tell you promptly of a breach affecting your practice’s data, and help you meet your own duties to patients and the National Privacy Commission.
- When you stop, changes on our servers are deleted within 38 days. Other details we hold for your practice are deleted once we no longer need them, except what the law makes us keep. We confirm it in writing if you ask. On request we answer reasonable questions about our safeguards and allow a reasonable review at your cost.
5. Fair use, and the app is ours
Do not use Klinic2Go for anything unlawful, try to get into another practice’s data or our systems, copy, resell or take apart the app, or send us heavy automated traffic. We may suspend a practice that does, after telling you why, unless the law or the safety of the service needs us to act at once. We own the app, its name, look and code, and give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while you subscribe. Your records are not ours.
6. Our promises and their limits
We run the service with reasonable care and skill, keep it as described here and in the privacy policy, and fix serious problems as quickly as we reasonably can. We cannot promise it will never be down or that the app has no errors, and it does not replace your judgement or your duty to keep your records correct.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is the amount paid for Klinic2Go in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss. This does not limit liability the law does not let us limit, including for fraud, gross negligence, or a breach of the Data Privacy Act.
7. Ending and changes
You may stop at any time (part 2). We may end the service for you on 30 days’ notice, or at once for a serious breach of part 5. If we ever stop offering Klinic2Go, we tell you at least 90 days before, and the app keeps your records on your phones and tablets so you can still open, read and print them.
We post new versions of these terms here, with a new date, at least 30 days before a change that affects you. If you do not agree, you may cancel before it takes effect.
8. Law, disputes, contact
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore. Before going to court, either side writes to the other and tries for 30 days to settle; if that fails, the courts of Singapore decide. This does not take away protections Philippine law gives you that cannot be set aside by agreement, or your right to complain to the National Privacy Commission.
